I found a company in London called Internet Dreams Ltd and looked at some of their work and found their web design work particularly attractive.
This is a site for a fashion boutique. I like the design of this site, it is very user friendly with a main navigation which drops down allowing you so see more options and it also has a secondary navigation on the left hand side. The top of the design is particularly attractive and draws the user in, through its modern and striking typeface in the centre and its colour scheme. In particular I like the way the colour fades out in a square effect, it gives the site a modern and trendy feel. I also appreciate the photography and the way the colours worn by the models match each other. I would also like to mention the way the primary navigation at the top is on a black background which I feel pulls the design in. Overall I feel this site works well and I like the design.
This is a site created also by Internet Dreams Ltd. The site is for a singer/songwriter I think the background is the first thing you are attracted to in this sight, I like the way different textures have been used, the contrast between the wood, the circles and the vector rainbow strip, this gives a very modern and contemporary feel. I think this sans serif label like typeface also gives a modern look and feel. I think the colour scheme of black on the wood which connects to the top texture works well, however I don't think it would work as well without the beautiful rainbow coloured strip which injects some needed colour into the site. This site is user friendly as it has a clear primary navigation which is easy to see and the sub navigation's down the right hand side. Overall I feel this site is attractive and would keep a user interested, so in my opinion it works well.
