iPhone packaging

Less is more!!! This is most definitely proved correctly by Apple and their packaging.  This is the packaging for the iPhone 3GS.  The phone itself is beautifully designed as a sleek and simple look allows the screen to take charge and means you can walk around with an amazing piece of design in your hand, bag or pocket.  Apple have used a photograph of the phone and allowed the sleek design of it take hold of the packaging.  I love the way the packaging is simple yet not boring, it is clean and has a good use of negative space.  I particularly like the way the apple logo and the description of the product uses foil block lettering making the product feel expensive and desirable, this is also true for the material used, the card apple have used to package their phone is thick and feels expensive.  I also like the use of a black background, having the photography of the phone which is black on the creates a desirable and luxurious effect.


Well done graphic designers of apples packaging... again I am very jealous.
