 This is our first day back after our holidays, we haven’t yet received our brief but we are currently researching packaging I have found five inspirational packages the first is hanger tea.  I think this is a unique and creative concept, which makes this brand stand out amongst its competitors.  I think the colours used are striking and the typeface used is a sans serif typeface, this used with the colours I think create a high-end look and feel.

The second piece of packaging, which I have looked at is that of minute maid juice it uses a square box and the texture from fruit for a fun approach to fruit juice, I feel this packaging would stand out amongst its competitors, next to all of the bottles of fruit juice, therefore I feel it does its job well.

I have also looked at a bag by VW for the golf GTI which uses photography to create the illusion of the car door, I think this is clever because it is not only useful as packaging, but is an advertisement because the bag will be carried around it will be seen.

I looked at Germanium body soap,who have simply altered their packaging to create a body shape, I think this is a clever idea as it will stand out next to the typical bar of soap.

Lastly I looked at a milk carton, which is shaped to spell the word milk, I feel this is a quirky way of packaging milk, which uses the design to differentiate from its competitors.
